Price per Product - Combined Weight Too Big

Hi,

I have used the Price Per Product plugin to restrict the shipment of certain products to certain zones. I have this configured and working perfectly on a sister site (same Hikashop version), however instead of seeing the "There are %s items in your cart which we cannot ship to you" message when I try to ship to a blocked zone I am seeing "The cart items combined weight is too big for all the possible shipping methods".

I have checked that the product weight in the product uses the same unit as the shipping methods.

Can you suggest anything else to check please?

I should have stated that this is a live, working store with shipping methods that have been working perfectly for different zones and different product weights (all in kg), so yes, all of the items in that documentation have been covered with the exception of point 9 (Use same weight .... as the first unit in the configured. This was set as default to lb,kg,g,mg,oz,ozt - I set it to kg,lb,g,mg,oz,ozt and re-tested and got the same "weight too big message".

This week we have been informed that certain products containing alcohol cannot be shipped outside of the country. This is why I enabled the Price per Product plug-in and applied the Block option for these products. It is this plugin, and it's logic which is causing the "The cart items combined weight is too big" message.

As I stated before, it's sister website (offering a smaller number of products) has the PpP plugin enabled and applied and it works perfectly...

Yes, switching off the block for the zone in the product makes shipping work properly.

The sister website is running exactly the same Hika version.

Both sites work perfectly with no block applied to a restricted product but one does not with the block applied.

OK, I will upgrade the website with the issue to the latest Hikashop version, and will retest, but I suspect that the issue will remain...
