SOLVED Selecting characteristics as checkboxes

Hello,
Is it possible to change the selection of characteristics from a radio button to a checkbox so multiple characteristics can be selected?

I'm using the HikaShop Business edition

Hi,

Characteristics are meant to create variants of a main product, resulting in new individual products.

What you will probably want instead are "options", multiple of which you can add to a product: www.hikashop.com/support/support/documen...ct-form.html#options

Thanks for the reply. I did look at the options function when first setting up the site and products, but it does not match what my client requires.

To summarise, the site allows customers to order a specific product as either product manuals or a sample of the product.

The actual product is not actually 'sold' through the site but the manuals and sample relevant to the actual product can be purchased in three different ways:

1 Single sheet
A pack of 25 Sheets
A product sample

None of the parent products or variants have any pricing. A customer may also want to order both a manual AND a product sample without having to add the product to the cart again to select the characteristics. Please visit:

Which shows the 'products' and asks to select 'options' which are characteristics associated withe each product in HikaShop.

The system allow to add the characteristics one by one only.
So having a checkbox is not possible this way.

But if you select the "list" type for variants selection in Configuration > Main > Product and use the global on listing add to cart button, so the system will list all the possible variants and the customer will be able to set the desired quantity on each variants and then click only one time on the add to cart button.

Thanks for the help, following your advice I now have a system working as my client requires. I just need my US states sorted out ( www.hikashop.com/forum/import-export-csv...s-in-csv-export.html ) and I might finally get this site live!
