Payment selection step gives no user feedback

I'd like to deploy Paypal as well as Paypal Pro (direct credit card) payment on our site, but I'm running into an issue that I think will cause some user confusion. I'm not sure its my template, or something else.

The attached screenshot is what the payment selection screen looks like. If I click the Paypal button, it works, but there is not user feedback that it has actually been selected. Clicking Next proceeds with Paypal correctly, and everything else works fine, but I've had several test users now as my why they can't actually select paypal as an option due to the lack of feedback on button click.

Any suggestions here?

Nah, I think that answers my question in that its likely a template issue. We'd been wanting to change from our (aging) template anyways, I think this just gives us a reason to do so.

If the problem persists after a template modernization, I'll get you guys an account to look at it.
