Thumbnails folder cannot be written

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.4.0 Business
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.1

I have an issue on the final checkout screen. Please see the attached screenshot. I have set the permissions on the folder to 777, but when a new order is processed it displays the same error.

The folder is owned by root and not the web account, is this the issue?

Hi,

I don't know how the permissions are set in your website but the message said that the folder "50x50fsO" can't be created or is not writable.
So you have to check that folder and the parent folder.
