Hi!

I know that I can configure the checkout in some way. So I created three steps. The last step contains only two opt-in boxes (checkboxes) - one for "terms and conditions" and one for "cancellation policy" which is a must in the EU. Here I face several issues:

a) As far as I can figure out, it is not possible to create several opt-in checkboxes with own error messages. I'm able to duplicate the default data type "terms and conditions" and write another text information for the link (that's linked to the checkbox on the checkout page) but the error message the customer gets if he miss the checkbox I can not change. How to do that?

b) If the customer misses the checkbox, an error message box is displayed - that works. But when the site is reloading there is no automatic jump to the error message - the site view remains on top. How to fix this?

Hi,

1. You can use a translation override of the key PLEASE_ACCEPT_TERMS_BEFORE_FINISHING_ORDER in order to change that text. However, note that the text will be common to both Terms and Conditions area.

I do see the need for an extra setting to the terms and conditions area to be able to provide different error messages for different areas. I've worked on this today an made a new build of the HikaShop install package for the current version with that extra setting.
Download again the install package of HikaShop on our website and install it on yours in order to be able to use it.

2. I can see on your website that it's a case not handled by the auto scroll system when the "Use bootstrap v2 design" setting is activated in the HikaShop configuration or with old view overrides. I've made a patch for this and included it in the package of HikaShop too.

Thanks for your fixes!

Btw. I faced another problem: If I put several products in the cart, then open it and delete at least one product - then close the cart - but now a small white bar remains on the screen and I can not click anything on the page.

I have to reload the page. Maybe it is a problem with the new canvas?

Hi,

Yes, it seems to be a problem with the canvas display. I didn't the time to look into it yet. Turn it off for now, and Ill reach you back here once I've had the time.

Hm ... it's a (relative) big thing to switch off the canvas, primarly in the mobile view. Would it be possible for you to add an option into the module configuration, that give us two parts of configure the cart window:

a) configuration for mobile view (default)
b) configuration for desktop view (inkl. breakpoint / pixel -> like css min-width ...)

I speak about the first configuration setting of the mini cart:

Hi,

I've made a patch which should help now.
Download the install package of HikaShop on our website and install it on yours and you'll get the patch.

What do you mean by "big thing to switch off the canvas" ? The canvas display mode didn't exist at all a few months ago, so I don't see why it would be a "big thing" to switch it off like before. Or am I missing something ?
Regarding a potential extra setting, it's a bit early for this. I would first like to have enough feedback on this new feature and have the drawer mechanism work properly.
