Email template settings ignored

-- HikaShop version -- : 6.5.1 [2607140858]
-- Joomla version -- : 6.1.2

Configuration > System > Emails > Select "Order Notification" > Change to "default Green > Save.

Test with a dummy order > Email received > No change experienced as Default / Default remains

Cleared all cache

solution
Cleared all cache in database which for some reason was an issue. Have no site or page cache enabled.

Hi,

What do you mean by "Test with a dummy order > Email received" ?
Do you mean that you clicked on the "email" button you see when you edit an order in the backend ? That's how you can test the "order notification" email.
If you mean that you tested creating an order on the frontend, then it's the "order creation notification" email which is sent to the customer, not the "order notification". So it's normal nothing changes.
