I encountered a behaviour with an item having two variants - both variants unpublished - but notice it can be added to cart as a free item.

If Variant 1 is unpublished and not set to Default - AND - item 2 is set to unpublished BUT is set to Default. The item remains "is" shown in the shop and available for customer to purchase for Free. (See attached screenshots)

This surprised me when I was doing some work in my pre-production site:blink:

Is their a way to warn the operator - or black the save operation so that a person doesn't arrive at this scenario of thinking they have turned an item off from selling - when it remains available and potentially now added to a cart as a free item

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback on this. This indeed needs some improvement.
I've made modifications in that regard following your message.
Download the install package of HikaShop on our website and install it on yours and you'll get the modifications. It should then work properly:
- warn the user in the backend when saving a product like this
- forbid add to cart and remove the button when no variants are available.
