Override font-awesome.css properly?

-- HikaShop version -- : 4.0.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.6
-- PHP version -- : 7.2.19

I've created a stripped down and customized version of fontawesome to use on hikashop but I'm not exactly sure where to place the file to properly override the default css file. Right now I'm simply replacing the file in the media folder but I would prefer to do a proper override so upgrading hikashop does not wipe it out.

The file I'm trying to override:

/media/com_hikashop/css/font-awesome.css

Hi,

In the hikashop_config table, add an entry with the namekey "font-awesome" and the value "no".
Then, add your CSS in your template to replace HikaShop's fontawesome.

J'ai installé Hikashop v4.2.2. Pour désactiver Fontawesome (déjà chargée par mon template), est-ce que je dois encore passer par une modification de la base de données, ou bien est-ce que je peux agir quelque part depuis la config d'Hikashop ?

I installed Hikashop v4.2.2.2. To disable Fontawesome (already loaded by my template), do I still have to go through a database modification, or can I act somewhere from the Hikashop config?

Hi,

It still requires the modification I proposed before.
We don't want to make it into an option as otherwise people would disable it without knowing what they are doing and we would then have support requests from people asking us why they don't see the icons...
