multiple batches in same position

I would like to request the possibility to add multiple batches with same position. There should be an option to dynamically align the batches, in case only 2 of 4 are asigned. They should either show below or next to each other.

Right now I can only use 4 batches with all 4 positions and I need some css to align them in one spot. With this approach, I can't show batches dynamically, depending on which ones are asigned with the product.

Let's assume I will show 4 batch-icons with left-top position: new, sale, hot, limited.

I can do this using all 4 positions and apply some css to align the icons.

What if I need to asign an energy label with left-bottom as well?

In this case it will not work.

I think somebody in the forum has applied a core hack for this.

Could we get this feature in core?

Thank you. I will go with 4 badges right now (css align bottom left) and wait for implementation.

I hope we will be able to attach badges with cutom fields?

Custom Field Checkbox for e.g. Filter:
- Top
- Hot
- New
- Limited

I can set the badge.
But I will need to check the according Checkbox with my product (custom field) as well, or Filter won't work.

Dependend on database prices.

And as I already mentioned. Attaching products to badges, instead of having checkboxes with product that are attached to badges, might cause problems when you work with > 10.000 products.

it turns out, that having positions with all 4 corners looks best with porttrait image.
