hi . i just upgraded the hikashop latest version. due to some php issues i was unable to upgrade it before.

i just added some warehouses in the backend of hikashop but when something is sold from those warehouses how we got to know that this product is sold from which warehouse ???

it wont show it on backend

Hi,

It depends if the order contains one or several warehouses in the same time.
The order system will continue to evolve and yes, for the moment the information about the selected warehouse might not be easy to see in all orders.
You will have more details when an order will contains 2 (or more) warehouses. When there is only one, the display is the simple display which does not put the name of the warehouse. We will improve it by displaying the warehouse name if the warehouse is not the "default" one.

If you want to have this information before, you can override the view "order | additional" in order to load the selected warehouse and display his name.

No i can wait for the nsxt version to come and i hope in the next version the warehouse will be shows in backend only and not in the frontend nor to the customer slips

Hi
is there a ware house HKS documentation ?
If my web site accept donation and sell differents products .
Can i cutom each type products with hikashop for shipement/pay or do i need hikamarket ( i nthe same website) ?
Does Warehouse concept work only with hikamarket ?

Hi,

The warehouse system has been introduced in HikaShop 2.2.0 and has been highly improved in HikaShop 2.3.0
For sure it does not required HikaMarket to work, otherwise the feature wouldn't be included in HikaShop itself.

And I'm sorry but there is still no documentation on the warehouse for the moment but there are several thread which talk about it and where the HikaShop support team fully explain the purpose of the feature and how use it.
