All HikaShop Carts Failing. "Next" function

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.4
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.6
-- PHP version -- : 5
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : All Latest

Carts fail when when selecting next on first steps, usually kicks back to index page, sometimes just refreshes the current view. seeing this across all my carts. I've got 4 and all the sudden none of them are working, this has been the status for a couple weeks and I need to get this figured FAST

Hi,

The fact that the popup when you add a product in the cart display a 404 pages means that there is something wrong in the configuration or with the SEF.

Please provide more details about your HikaShop configuration and SEF configuration.

It's standard Joomla SEF enabled, SEF is the first thing I turned off as a trouble shooting step, then cleared cache and used even alternate browsers and computers, with not change in behavior.

Hello,
1. Can you test it without any SEF ?

2. Can you also set a menu trough the "Force a menu on checkout" option via "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Checkout" and test again ?

Joomla SEF full disabled
and CHeckout Menu Item assigned at the bottom

Logged in or not still refreshes back to the /index.php view

Thanks.
It looks like you have a redirection while submitting the form.
But if we use the link in the checkout bar in order to go in the next step ; it's working.
Regarding the code, I don't see what part of the checkout controller could produce this redirection.

Could you please provide a backend access to your website and also a FTP access ; so we will be able to check your configuration directly and fix the issue.

This is very troubling. Any Further suggestions.
It's the height of the season and I cannot process orders,

It appears possible to process through the cart by clicking the "progress bar" links after I disable "auto submit of shipping & payment options". I can get all the way to the cc form. If attempting to use the "next" & "finish" buttons the cart just kicks the browser back to the index page, with and without SEF

Any Updates, I've tried all I can think of
removed all 3rd party plugins components and modules
checked https/redirects
disabled all SEF...
My template is simply a modified Protostar with no extra js
Any Ideas,. .. . .

Hi,

Please download again the HikaShop install package on our website and install it again on yours and see if that helps.
If not, if you have something in the "force a menu on checkout" option of the hikashop configuration, set it to "none" and if you have it set to "none", set to a menu item of the type "hikashop checkout" and try again.

Hi,

I did further checks on your website but it's not a checkout issue.

If I go to volt2.com/index.php?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=affiliate with my user account and click on "save" I also get redirected to the home of your website, as it happens for the POST request on the checkout with you click on the next button.
It seems that there is something on your website frontend which intercepts the POST requests and operate a redirect to the index regardless of what is in the POST. It could be some custom script you added on the website/server or an extension (a system plugin for example). You should check the things that you added to your website around when the problem happened, try to deactivate them and try again. I've already looked at some plugins code and the htaccess but couldn't find clues on what exactly could be doing that.

I've essentially removed all third party plugins, and still the url is scrubbed. I did notice that if there is a value entered for "Checkout SEF name" then it's added to the Cart Module Checkout url and thus breaks the link. Im tired and nothing appears to be working. is there any instruction where I could manually set each of the "next" links and the anchor links in the checkout view so that I can be assured where they go and remove them from being processed by what ever scripts are modifying them.

Setting the links won't help you because wherever you send them, the script that does the redirect will intercept the request and do the redirect.
If you don't know what is the cause of the problem and want an alternative solution, I would recommend to use the PayPal Express Checkout payment method in order to have customers not go through the checkout on your website but on PayPal and thus circumventing completely the issue.

I've got HikaShop installed on another domain,
no third party extensions/components/modules installed except for admin custom css and HikaShop.
--SEF disabled
--Latest Joomla 3.3.6
--Latest HikaShop 2.3.4
--PHP 5.3.28

The script in the Shape5 Quick Contact module breaks the HikaShop Cart Checkout Form, if its installed and active.
