Salut Nicolas and team,

Just wanted to let you know of a weird bug, installed Hikashop Business 2.3.4 via Install via Directory option...
and we get after.jpg [see attached after.jpg image], all of the checkmarks and X turn to letters...

So I was about to remove the WHOLE thing [but I had already tried that once so I figured I'd try something else which was to remove all the plugins I did NOT need [about 45 of them as usual] [see attached files named list-of-plugins-to-be-removed1.jpg through list-of-plugins-to-be-removed5.jpg]

And after I did THAT uninstallation, the checkmarks/X etc all came back... not being a programmer, i'm guessing one of those plugins doesn't have itself closing correctly or has an extra ; in the wrong place or has a variable out of place but what do I know :)

Something is rotten in the state of those plugins ;) lol

Cheers,

Emmanuel

P.S.: btw, I can't wait for you to either:

1. un-bundle most of the Payment Plugins and other lesser used plugins and make it a smarter install where during the install the wizard asks you which this or that plugin you want to download from a checkable list and installs on the fly - it will make for a much smaller install package and fewer issues

OR

2. just make the payment plugins a separate file, the lesser used plugins another file etc - on every installation I end up having to remove around 40-45 of them anyways]

Hi,

0. I don't think that it is the disabling of the plugins or the uninstall/reinstall which fixed the problem but that the cache of the web browser expired. I've just had someone else with the same issue contacting me and when I logged on their website to check the issue, it worked just fine so I guess it's more a matter of clearing your web browser cache than anything.

1. 2. You're totally right, and that's on one todo list. We want to work on that in 2015 but it's going to take some time and we still have more urgent things we want to do before that, but we'll hopefully get to it soon enough :)
