-- PHP version -- : 5.3.29

the Joomla configuration).

Hi.

Following updating to the current version of Hikashop Essential, there are two errors associated with login at the checkout.

First, when the client logs in as required, the normal login return page for their client group is presented in a pop-up. I use Redirect-After-Login to manage where different client groups are directed after login. Previously Hikashop overrode this and stayed at the checkout page.

The client's address presents an incorrect "state" field. The country is Australia, but the drop-down for the states presents a long list of foreign states.

What can I do to fix these errors?

Thank you.

Hi,

1. I don't see why that behavior would change. Could you provide a user test account so that we can look at the issue on the checkout ?

2. That's because you disabled all the other countries but didn't save the new default value of the country field. Go in the menu Display>Custom fields, edit your country field and save it making sure that australia is selected in the "default" value and that should solve the issue.

Thank you.

The default country was already Australia. However I save-&-closed, and also save-&-closed for the state field, and now that issue is resolved.

That seems also to have affected the pop-up issue. Now the pop-up on login (for new users) is the address page formatted with the site's default template. That would be fine, except that I'm having issues with the template in pop-ups and mobile devices - the navigation bar is superimposed on the header. I would prefer the simple view presented for the edit-address function. How can I achieve this? How can I send you a test login directly?

Hi,

Here are two solutions you can try:
1. You can try to change the "popup mode" option of the HikaShop configuration. That might help avoid the issue if you use another popup system than the default one.
2. You can also change the "address selector" option of the HikaShop configuration. If you use "list" or "dropdown", you won't get the popup at all and the address form will be integrated in the checkout view so that should completely circumvent the problem.

Using the "list" address selector, working fine.
All good now!
Thanks very much for your help.

Changing the address selector to list sorted it nicely. Thank you.
