is it possible to have the login /registration step after choosings delivery method and payment method just before confirming the order?

Hi,

It could be possible yes ; but generally, the shipping method selection require to have the user address.
So it is better at this moment that the user be already logged. Otherwise, once the user will be logged, his shipping select can be lost (due to an address modification in the session).
