-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.5

I used to have a certain setup in my site before last HikaShop update that is not working anymore, can't find any new parameter or "replaced" parameter by comparing production site with my local computer site.

After spending many time experimenting with cloned sites for testing I see no way to fix it. Looks like some setup method has changed and I don't find the right parameter to fix.

–––––––––––––––––––––
When I was clicking my Product Listing Menu ( id 545) I was getting on view

Main Module (with three columns)
+
Associated Module (with two columns).

Then if I clicked on a category icon in a Content Module ( id 141) I was only seeing the Associated Module

ain Module (with three columns)
-
Associated Module (with two columns).

This was great because once I clicked in a certain subcategory I want only to see the products for that category.

Now this is not happening anymore. The subcategory products are showing in a Three Column mode where it was 2 columns before, and then I always see both Modules of the Content Menu (the menu listing + the associated module)

This is my setup which is not changed from my former version of the site before the upgrade to 2.6.5 (the former version before this update was 2.3.4)

I will sent login data by contact form.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,

In the "type of content" setting of your menu, you've selected "product" instead of "category".
So you now have a listing of products with an attached listing of products, where what you want is an listing of categories with an attached listing of products.

Thank you Nicolas, I checked with my old site version and the settings are the same.

What I want is a list of products without categories because I use a Content Module to show categories (on top of the product list just under the horizontal menu).

Original behavior was that clicking in the menu option "FORKLIFT Catalog"

AA three columns product list was showing
BB two columns product list was showing under AA.

this was obeying the menu setup.

And when clicking an icon of the Category Content Menu only BB was showing together with a NAV Page bar at bottom.

Now since the update I always get both modules even if I have selected a certain category by the Category Content Module.

And the content that should show in two columns (associated module setting) is showing in three despite is rendering the Type of item layout of the Associated Module.

Could be some database "corrupted" ?

It looks like the renderer is mixing parameters from both modules.

I would be simply happy if the main menu FORKLIFT Catalog showed random products as stated in the first part of the menu setup

And when clicking a Category in the Content Module it showed only the Associated Module. This is what I got before the update.

Sorry that I could not explain simpler.

Thank you.

Hi,

There is nothing wrong. It's normal that you see two products listing the way you configured your menu item.
You didn't had that before because there was a bug whereby HikaShop didn't handle that situation properly. Now that it is the case, you have something you don't want.
So the situation is reversed actually.

You either want a products listing menu without associated module, or you want a category listing menu with an associated module. If you have a products listing menu with an associated module, it's normal that you see two products listings.
