Hikashop with mapX ( xmap ) not working.

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.5.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.4
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.28
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : n/a

I followed the directions in the documentation to download and install the xmap plugin but the hikashop sitemap doesn't show up at all ..

Any thoughts? is that plugin outdated now? the documentation claims it works with mapX

The plugin we provide is only an integration plugin that you can use with a joomla site map extension like mapx or xmap.
So you first need to install and configure one of these extensions, compatible with the mapx/xmap plugins and then you'll be able to use the plugin we provide in order to include the HikaShop categories/products in your site map.
If you don't have a sitemap at all on your website, the problem is not in HikaShop. It's either that you didn't install a site map extension or that you didn't configure it yet.

We use mapx on all of our sites, the sitemap in general is working fine, it just includes zero hikashop data, we have hikashop menu items but nothing shows up on the sitemap for it.

There really wasn't much by way of configuration of the plugin other than minimum and maximum depth, the plugin is enabled .. just not part of the sitemap

I installed the latest mapX in my Joomla 3 test website ; with the "hikashop xmap2" plugin.
It is working good (except 4 strict standard warnings in mapX)
