Hikashop urls after Joomla search

I got a question:

How to deal with the way hikashop pages like single product page or categories are linked from the joomla search component.

I mean, that if I perform a search and have the list with the search results, clicking on some of the hikashop results, I am getting a "raw" sef url for it, like
/component/hikashop/product/product-name
or
/component/hikashop/category/category-name
which of course is not the same as the original page url.

Also, for hikashop only pages it opens the search results links in a new window, while Joomla content it opens on the same window.

Hi,

To have the desired urls, in the settings of the HikaShop product search and HikaShop category search plugins you have to set the ID of the menu with the correct url for the ItemId option. That way the url of the menu will be used.

For the issue that the pages are opened in a new window, this is potentially an option of the Joomla search module.
