TIC code not getting to Taxcloud

-- HikaShop version -- : 4.0.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.5
-- PHP version -- : 7.0.33

We recently became aware of an issue with the TIC code set for the products in Hikashop not coming through to Taxcloud.

We have the TIC code set as 99999 for several items (In-store Sales). This is working correctly in checkout (no tax is added).

However, in Taxcloud the TIC associated with the orders is "0" which results in tax being added on the Taxcloud side.

Looks like the TIC set in Hikashop is not coming through which results in us getting charged incorrect tax each month.

Hi,

We would need more information on that product.
Could you provide screenshots of the settings of that product ?

Also, it will probably require us to be able to place an order with that product on your website (without having to pay) and a FTP access so that we can add debug information during the sending of the order information to TaxCloud.
Could you provide that along with a link to this thread via our contact form ?

Hi,

Could you check the TIC of the variants of that product ?
What are they set to ? What if you change them ?

Otherwise, yes, a staging website with FTP access and instructions to reproduce the issue would be fine too.

I don't see the ability to set TIC codes in the variant settings. On the variant tab under "Custom Fields" there is only "Vendor" and "User group after ...". Product Taxability Code is only found on the main product tab.

Oh, ok. I had forgotten about that.
Then I don't know. Please provide a backend access and FTP access and instructions to be able to add the product to the cart and finish the checkout (don't need to pay for the order, just the creation of the order will be enough to debug the issue).

Hi,

Thank you for the accesses. I was able to debug the situation and added a patch to prevent the issue.

I've added the patch on your staging website and I've also added the patch in the HikaShop install package available on our website as a hot fix. so you can donwload it and install it on your website to get the patch.

I also include a new package of just the TaxCloud package to update the plugin without updating the whole HikaShop files:

Thank you. I installed the fix you attached. Unfortunately, it broke Hikashop. Received a "Call to undefined function hikashop_isClient()" error on both frontend and backend after install. I re-installed com_hikashop_business_v4.1.0_2019-05-30_21-27-58.tar and it fixed the issue.

Does this install package have the hotfix?
