-- HikaShop version -- : 4.2.2
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.10
-- PHP version -- : 7.3
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : firefox, edge
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Shipping address not shown in back end, shows shop address instead.

Hikashop is no longer displaying the shipping address correctly on the back end, and is also missing the invoice number and order status upon an order being received. I have included screenshots of orders received prior to the update, and currently with the latest 4.2.2 version.

What should I look at to see why this is happening?

Hi,

I don't think this is linked to the update.
The fact that you have the store address instead of the shipping address indicates that you've activated the "shipping address override" setting of your shipping method(s). So please edit them via the System>Shipping methods menu and make sure that this option is turned off. You should normally only activate it if the shipping method is a "pickup directly at the store" or something like that where you don't want the shipping address of the customer.

Regarding the invoice number, it is only generated when the order status is changed to one of the order statuses enabled under the "invoice" column of the System>Order statuses menu.
Since the order status of the order is empty, it's normal that the invoice number is missing too.
So the question is now why the order status is missing.
Please check your payment methods and check their "status" settings. Make sure these are properly set and save the payment methods settings once.
Then please try again and see if you still have the problem. If you do, please provide a screenshot of the settings of the payment method, of the System>Order statuses menu and of the "history" area of the test order you just made so that we can better understand the situation.

Thanks for the suggestion; the UPS module was configured correctly but the USPS module was somehow set to override to shop address. We have corrected that setting and will check if that solves the issue with the shipping address.

On the order status, all payment methods have status' set for the different actions.

I do believe that once we manually set a status, the invoice number is set. The question is, why is the initial status not being set upon order entry.

Hi,

Please go in the menu System>Order statuses. There, under the "created" column, you need to have the "created" status enabled so that the orders will have that status as default status when created.
