How to truncate product descriptions

-- HikaShop version -- : 4.4.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.23
-- PHP version -- : 7.3.25
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : N/A

I would like to truncate lengthy product descriptions in the product list if the descriptions are longer than usual. What's the best way to go about this?

Hi,

Add a read more tag to the description and it will remove automatically everything after the read more tag including it.
In the HikaShop configuration you can activate the "read more" setting and you'll then have a "read mode" button in the HTML editor of the description where you can click on to add the tag to the description.
