Category shows the number of products, but does not show articles when clicked

I can see how many books are in one category, but when clicking on the category, it does not show the books. Just empty space. The main page shows the content of the main category (Bücher). you can see it here

When switching to Protostar, there is no menu with links to categories


I think it must be something with the configuration of the categories. It happened, after I changed a lot in the categories.
