Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to watch the demo and for the detailed feedback, I really appreciate it.
About the speed — you’re right. If you only generate content for a few products, it doesn’t feel much faster than using ChatGPT manually. That’s not really where the plugin is meant to shine. It’s more about handling larger batches. When you’re dealing with dozens or even hundreds of products, not having to switch between tabs, copy-paste, and manually format everything starts to make a noticeable difference. The idea is to keep everything inside HikaShop and make the whole process more consistent and less repetitive.
Regarding the images, that’s a fair concern as well. The system doesn’t actually “know” the exact real product, so the images are more illustrative than precise. They’re mainly there to help when a product doesn’t have a proper image yet, or to improve the overall look of a catalog. That’s also why the image part is optional and can be adjusted or skipped entirely. I wouldn’t position it as a replacement for official product photos, more like a fallback or visual enhancement.
About the CSS, I agree with you. The inline styles are there to make sure the content looks acceptable across different templates without extra setup, but I understand that in a real shop it’s better if styling is handled by the template. I’ll probably make this more flexible so the output can be cleaner if needed.
Overall, the goal isn’t really to replace manual ChatGPT usage in every situation, but to make the workflow smoother when working directly inside HikaShop, especially when the number of products starts to grow.
Thanks again for the feedback, it’s genuinely useful.
