No categories showing in back end

In the back end, each of my products has a category assigned. But when I go to Hikashop -> Categories, there are no categories showing. Even if I click the "Rebuild" button and I get the message "The category tree has been rebuilt," there are still no categories. Please see the screen shot.

Hi,

The categories tree is hidden by default. Normally, you're supposed to see your main categories on the listing and thus the categories tree is normally not necessary.
On your screenshot, on the left side of the search input, you can see a button: <>
Click on it, and it will expand the categories tree area.
