-- HikaShop version -- : 6.5.2

Hi HikaShop team,

We are missing the list of all files changed between version 6.5.1 and 6.5.2 and the previous version.

It's now hard to find out which files have changed. We hope you can deliver this quickly.

Kind regards,
Lumiga

Hi,

We decided to stop providing that list. It adds extra steps to the release process and it will be less and less useful going forward.
Another issue is that we provide a new build of the current version almost every day. So the list we publish is actually not 100% accurate for each person's situation as different users will use different builds with different files being modified.
With AI, you can now take the zip of your previous version, the zip of the new version and ask it to compare the files. Or even have it write a small script to automate the process. And with this, you'll be able to get a 100% accurate list as you'll have it work on the builds you're using on your website and not what we arbitrarily decide on our end.

@Lumiga You can use WinMerge on windows for this, you can compare 2 or 3 folders and the files inside them, easy and fast to use.
And it is FREE. ::cheer::

Okay, understandable if it's a different build every day. I need to get used to doing this a different way, but it's a good idea to do this with AI. I'm going to build an application that does this for me in the future, where I specify which views and email files I've modified in the past, and have it give me a list of which files I need to update to the new version, based on the 2 installation files.

Kind regards,
Lumiga
