Hi there!

Is there a way, to hide links and panels to a specified usergroup at the backend?

I mean, I have a user group, called "webshop editor". "Webshop editor" group have access to backend and I don't want it to see orders, partners etc. only products and categories.

Found system - configuration - access level but whatever I set to this group, nothing happens. Do these settings apply only to frontend?

Thanks is advance!

Hi,

It's indeed where you can do that.
Note however that if your user has several user groups then if at least one group has access to a feature, he will be able to see the feature.
Also, in the "access level" tab, you have the option "Inherit parent group access". If that option is activated, then as long as one parent user group of a user group of the user is allowed to see the feature, the user will see the feature.
