I have looked at your plugin shop and the Integration with MailChimp plugin.

We are wanting to add users registering via the Hikashop checkout process to our MailChimp mailing list automatically if they agree to sign up.

The product page doesn't really specify that this is possible but I have seen in the forum that you have suggested to various users that this will solve this problem for them. Just want to confirm before purchasing the plugin.

Currently we have a custom field in the Address table to confirm that the customer wants to sign up. Can you please advise how the user registration process will work and if we need to do anything else to set it up.

This will save a lot of time for us.

Thanks for your support.
The description of the MailChimp plugin was a bit lacking. I've added information about that capability.
I've also worked on this today to add support for subscription during the registration process with a new setting in the plugin to select the subscription mode: on registration, on order, or both.
Please update to the 1.3.0 version of the plugin to get the extra option.
Also, note that the plugin relies on a custom field of the table "user" for the consent, not the table "address". The address table doesn't make sense since a user can have several addresses for his user account but you only want him to provide consent or not once.
