Mass Action - Unable to select category in 'Update the categories' Action.

I am having a problem setting up a mass action to add a category. I select 'Update the categories' in the Actions select but when I click in the box to select the category nothing happens.

Uncaught TypeError: window.oNameboxes.action_product_2_updateCategories_value is undefined

I have managed to get it to work by saving the Mass Action before selecting the category.
