Stripe v3 problems

-- HikaShop version -- : 4.2.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.6
-- PHP version -- : 7.3.9
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome 76.0.3809.132
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Infinite spinning wheel

Just purchased and installed the Stripe v3 plugin "Hikashop Stripe Connect Payment Plugin" v1.0.4 and am getting very poor results.

Firstly is 1.0.4 the latest version?

With Payment Interface set to:
Card (3D-secure) - after entering the card details you just get the spinner icon forever.
Card (by Stripe Token - Legacy) I get the following: "Received unknown parameters: name, address_line1, address_city, address_state, address_zip, address_country.



Also the Stripe Connect plugin has an extra field called Client ID - after talking with Stripe, they could not tell me what this field might be for, and its not listed in your documentation. Can you tell me what should be entered here?

Same problem as you.
The documentation is not updated, we don't know how to correctly setup the plugin.

When activated, the v3 plugin displays a blank screen when clicking on "Submit Payment"

Hello,

Version 1.0.4 is the latest version.
Please use the 3D secure mode and not the token legacy one.

If you do have the infinite loop, it means that you have a php fatal error during the ajax call.
You are not the only one to report that problem but we really need the php error message to be able to fix it.

That message should bein your php error log. Or you should activate the joomla debug mode to be able to see the message on the result of the ajax call.

From PHP error log:

But I think this might be before I disabled the Stripe V2 plugin. There are no other error messages here.

From the JavaScript Console while:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 ()

Hello,

So it requires a test with the joomla debug mode activated and the network console.
Only with that it will be possible to see the content of the 500 error page and have the details of the error.

I was also getting a blank page and after some testing I found the culpret was the old Stripe plugin. I disabled it in the Joomla Plugins area and the new Stripe 3 plugin is working :)

Unfortunately, the "har" file is not what is required. And it do not include the Ajax call which contains the 500 error page.

Hello,

As explained previously, the PHP error log would be required to understand what is the 500 error.
Otherwise, if you have the Joomla debug mode activated, you should be able to see the error details within the ajax call (it requires to see the content of the page in the network tab of the browser console).
