Is there a way to get the quickbooks plugin working? There is no documentation, can we get a plugin update?

Hi,

This plugin was developed for the QBMS API. The documentation for this API is still available here:
static.developer.intuit.com/qbSDK-curren...df/QBMS_devguide.pdf
If you have the credentials for it, you can add them to the QuickBooks payment method, like for any payment plugin, after clicking on the "new" button of the System>Payment methods menu and selecting it in the list of payment plugins.

However, it seems that QuickBooks released a new API several years ago:
developer.intuit.com/app/developer/qbpayments/docs/get-started

I'm not sure if the QBMS API is still available or if only old merchants with an existing integration can still use it. A new plugin might have to be developed for the new API and that could explain why you have trouble trying to use the plugin.

Developing a new plugin is always possible, however, it's a costly process.
Also, it seems that the new API is geared towards invoice payments and payouts:
quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-u...r/L4t0JMv2G_US_en_US
It doesn't seem to be geared towards an ecommerce payment system.
So maybe I'm not looking at the correct place but I'm not even sure that QuickBooks can be used for an ecommerce website for payments. And that would explain why no one asked us about it since it was introduced several years ago.

I guess the first thing would be to contact QuickBooks support to check what they propose you for payment processing on an ecommerce website, if not already done.
