ApplePay and GooglePay for the STRIPE Plug-in?

As STRIPE natively supports ApplePay and GooglePay, do you know when the STRIPE payment plug-in will support those methods as well?

I tried the PayPal payment plugin and found it unreliable for ApplePay and GooglePay.
With ApplPay, it kept asking me to try another card.
With GooglePay, I just get: APPROVE_GOOGLE_PAY_VALIDATION_ERROR
PayPal itself works fine.

The reason I am asking about the STRIPE plug-in is that for small purchases, like audio files at $2.00 per sale, the PayPal fee is taking nearly $.60 on each transaction. STRIPE is half that cost.
