content module on product page question

Hikashop 2.2
Joomla 2.5.11

I have the hikashop content module enabled under the product page which is displaying products "in the same categories".

But when a product is placed in many different categories the modules displays a lot of different products. Is it possible to exclude one of my categories from this module?

The category I want to exclude is called "new products" and it has a lot of products and it is causing my problem.

There is no such option unfortunately. What you can do though is use another choice like "in the same brand" or "related products" and then configure brands or related products so that you can have a more fine grained selection of the products.
