-- url of the page with the problem -- : digitalguarddog.com/dd_dev/2013-07-24-08...s-i/product/12-pbs-i
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.2.1
-- Joomla version -- : 2.5.14
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.3
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Any - they're all the same
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : No error message

I am totally stumped how to make this work how I want. I've read the documentation and it gives no indication how to achieve this.

1. I don't want the related products under the product, I want it to the left - as it displays (from the Joomla module). How do I get rid of the underneath copy? Actually, what I really want to do is get that up in the left column and turn off the Joomla module, but there seems no option in the HS module to change from underneath.

2. I don't want "Choose options" but I cannot seem to turn this off. I have, in the HS module options, "Add to cart" checked, but it doesn't show. I don't want a customer to be taken to the related product when they click on it (so I turned that off), but "Choose options" still does that even if the image doesn't. It would be much nicer if it opened in a lightbox rather than navigate away.

1. Go in the configuration, edit the option "modules under the product page" and disable the related products module.
Then you can publish it on the left position of your template if your want via the joomla modules manager.

2. If you turn on the 'add to cart" button display, the system will display add to cart buttons on the listing for products without characteristics or options. For products with characteristics or options, it's impossible to display the add to cart button on the listing and thus it displays instead a button to go to the product page.

Thank you for both the help and the explanation. I didn't think of the "related products" in this case have options and that would stop them having a simple add to cart - that makes sense/
