Hi,
I am trying to add images to my products. These images are located in a different folder (as part of an existing gallery). I used the correct path and everything, but still get the barcode image. How can I correct this?

Hi,
Can you give more information about the way you added your images to your products ? It will help me to understand from where the problem is really coming from.

Hi Mohamed,

after adding the product info, completing all fields, etc. in the image section click add image button, the give a title, choose specify location from drop-down box and then pasting the link to the image (located in another folder on the same server/website) in the file path box.

You should enter the relative path of the file in the media/com_hikashop/upload folder of your website, not the URL of the file.

so this means that the images will be stored in the original photogallery as well as in the upload folder? taking up twice the space?

Hi,

You can used the smaller image.
But HikaShop needs the file in a specific directory if it wants to generate thumbnails.
