Can't display more than a single column

-- url of the page with the problem -- justvault.org/j3/index.php/shop-on-lline-poles-and-more
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.2.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.1
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.27
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : IE8, Chrome current, Firefox current
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : None

Brand new install, I want to display categories, then products, in 2 or 3 columns, but everything is showing up in a single column. I can change thing like background color, so I know I'm in the right place, but changing the number of columns to show has no apparent effect.

Any suggestions welcome.

Hi,

www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/5...html#display_general

Use bootstrap design: That option is turned on by default for Joomla 3.0 and above and is turned off by default below that Joomla version. When turn on, the views of HikaShop on the frontend will be responsive and use the bootstrap library for that and styling. It requires that your Joomla template supports bootstrap. On Joomla 3.0, most templates should. However, if you have display issues on your frontend (like for example the number of columns of your listings which is always 1 no matter what you enter in the "number of columns" option of your menus/modules), it means that your template does not support bootstrap and that you should turn off that option.

Now that is interesting. Turning Responsive off does allow multi-column, but the same software levels (on a different host) didn't have that issue. I am using a responsive template, set to be responsive.

Thanks for the info.

Hi,

A responsive template is maybe not a bootstrap one.
We have a bootstrap design, it means that it requires bootstrap.
