When I choose on a menu and click "Select" next to "Associated Modules" it opens up a new window. When I click on a module, from in the new window, make my changes and save then go back to the menu no module is selected.

I was able to do this before easily so not sure what's wrong now.

Thanks!!

Which version do you have ? If you turn on the debug mode and error reporting options of the joomla configuration, do you get some errors when doing that ?

Which version do you have ?

Joomla! 2.5.16
HikaShop Business: 2.2.2

If you turn on the debug mode and error reporting options of the joomla configuration, do you get some errors when doing that ?

I don't see any errors. I don't remember it opening in another window when you click on the module, it would just add the module that you selected.

Thanks!!

What kind of popup does it open ? Can you do a screenshot of the whole page before and after the click ?

I've attached 3 images in the order of what happens.

The 1st one is when I click on "Associated Modules"
The 2nd is the popup
The 3rd is the screen it takes me to

That's because you click on the link of the module and thus you go to the options page of the module... Instead, you should turned on the "publish" radio on the right and click on the "ok" button to validate the selection.

I did that but it still doesn't add it. And if I don't click on the module that I want how will it know which one to add?

Sorry I am a bit confused :(

Hi,
As Nicolas said, you'll just have to set the radio of your associated module to YES and save it by using the OK button through the popup page of the associated modules option.

I guess we were spoiled because in an older copy of the component it used to add the "associated module" automatically for you. Please see attached pic.

So my question is, how do I know which module from the list is the "associated module" for that menu?

Thanks!

Hi,

When editing the HikaShop menu (from HikaShop > Display > Content menu), you have the "associated module" listing, like this:

Sorry but I don't think you guys are understanding what I am trying to say or maybe it's just me :(

When I FIRST click on "select" next to "associated module" ALL of the modules are UNPUBLISHED so how do I know which one to choose?
