options for product

i would like to add to a product bit.ly/ITcDIi multiple option. for example in the gotdog item i would like to let the user to choose few component :ketchup,mustard, tomato ( the full list has 10 items ) .
the user should be able to choose more then one item .
please advice

Hi yoav,
A solution can be to :
- Create an unpublished category
- Create 4 product named (ketchup/mustard/tomato/..) and add them to the unpublished category
- Go to your product configuration page
- add these products through the "Options" tab of your product configuration page.

O.K. IT WORKS how ever i get one long list can i built it into 2 or 3 coulmns ?
the filed for choosing products ( optional product ) is very wide can i make it smaller ? the only word there is yes \ no

in addition i would like to give a customer an option to order with any hotdog meal one soft drink in 50% discount. .
the client will be able to choose only one soft drink cola,zero , sprite etc....if he order the hotdog meal .

The solution will be to create X characteristics with the same values, then add them to your product so that your customers will be able to select X time one of your characteristic value.
