manufacturer display shows product twice

When you go to the website - select 'merken' and select one of the manufacturers (e.g. 'Blaa') you get all products in the webshop from this manufacturer. But when the product is existing under more than one category (e.g. baby and girls) the product is shown twice. How can this be changed so the product is only showed once?

In the options of the menu/module you have to select the display of the "Direct sub elements" instead of "All sub elements".

I think that the problem is coming from the fact that you have created the same products more that one time.

Indeed. I created the product once under category Baby with the characteristics for Baby. I created the same product a second time under 'FEEËN' with the characteristics for feeën.
If I would create the product only once under both categories baby and feeën I would have to add all characteristics (for baby and for feeën) here also. But the consequence than is that all characteristics for baby and feeën can be seen under both categories baby and feeën. And this should not be the case!!!
One characteristic is e.g. size of a clothing. It should not be possible to order baby size clothing under category feeën and vice versa!
Can you tell me maybe if this can be done different?

So this product is not really the same in both categories because it has different variants.
If you have two products with different variants, you need both in the listing, else the customer cannot select the desired variant if only one of them is displayed...

I think that you have to make it differently, for example specify the product name by including the category or something like that.
