Change Characteristics with mass actions

Hi,
I like to add a extra Values of one of my Characteristic for most of my products.
I think a can use for that the mass action function but it is tricky.

Can you gif me a example how to do this or is there a other better/safe solution for it?

The mass actions actually don't manage that.
Actually you can add a characteristic to a product but not a value to a characteristic.

For that you have to use the menu Products > Characteristics to add a value on the characteristic and then manage it in the products. Else you can remove the characteristics via the mass actions and add again the characteristics to the desired products to add the new extra data.

I change de characteristic "kies maat" with a extra value "29".
Than I delete in the artikel the old "kies maat" for the new one.
In the frontend there is no change

Is it also not posible to change characteristic this way?
I hope you have a solution for it.
