Custom Message

I have updated to latest version 2.2.3 but i am having trouble with custom message when users choose gift wrapping ( previously they could leave a personalised message before being taken to paypal)

I had set up the custom field under menu > Table item which i can still see but i can no longer get it to work

Any advice gratefully accepted

Thanks to check if the option "Display custom item fields" is enable in Configuration > Display > Default parameters for products.
Are you sure that the product is in one of the categories set in the custom field settings ?

I think i am taking two steps forward then one step backwards

I have created custom field as you said above and that seems to be working however now when you go to shop and select the product without the options and proceed to checkout it is automatically adding options to product even though they are not checked. I also cannot delete product from cart

Also one other issue, i created some custom text a while ago on checkout page but for the life of me i cannot remember where to edit it.. i don't seem to have a custom field for there. Any ideas? ( see pic)

I sort of remember editing a file over a year ago but not sure which one.. i have checked my display custom fields but nothing

Hi,
If you want to change or delete this custom field, you'll just have to go to your "giftmessage" custom field configuration page and un-publish it or edit it.

thanks for quick response but the custom field i set up and visible on pic i sent you is for the input box and does not contain the text that appears on the check out page
