Accordion on Demo

Hi,
on you demo site there is a nice category accordion menu in the left module. Are there any step by step instructions to how to set this up as I cannot figure it out at all.

Hi,

There is already one setup when you install HikaShop. Simply enable the "categories listing: 2 levels" module via the joomla modules manager.

Hi,
I have switched that on but its not working as an acordian, its showing all subcateggories but not the main categories
you can see at demo.battleva.co.uk/apples. It links to menu item products in the top bar which is a category menu

What have I done wrong

Hi,

It means that you must have modified the "sub element filter" option of your module. Edit it via the menu Display>content modules and set that option to "direct sub elements" and that should fix it.

Hi,
ok we seem to be getting somewhere, setting the setting to direct sub elements has made the menu show the correct headings but:

1. its already expanded on all categories
2. the subcategories are all in a block not under each other

again, it must be a setting I hope but please help.

yes it looks good but that is the skyline accordian as I could not get the built in one to function.
