Random display of products

Hi,

I am trying to display my products randomly when landing on a category page. At this stage, all the brand line up together. What I want is the brands to be mixed up. I found an option to display products randomly but it doesn't seem to be doing the trick.

Any documentation on this or suggestions?

Can you provide a screenshot of the options of your products listing and a link to the page you're talking about ?

This is the page. You will see these are being displayed in the order they were added to the system. I noticed you can manually set the order. I was hoping for an automated solution for this. Basically, I don't want all of one brand showing on the main landing page.

In terms of the product options, what window are you looking for?

Can you also attach some screenshots of how did you configured your product listing content module which have the ID number 431 through the page "Hikashop->Display->Content module" ?

The product is actually using ID 371, 431 is disabled.
But here they both are.

Hi,

Even if the module is disable for the general, you can force a publication for a specific place.
The module 431 in the page you gave the link. You can see in the source of the page

<div id="hikashop_module_431" class="hikashop_module ">
Well, this module, 431, does not have the option "random" activated.
So you just have to activate it.
