Only dispay product between available from / until

To make a product available only between date x and date y you can select the ' product available from' and/or 'product available until' option. Outside this period, the product is visible but not selectable.

I would like to make the product invisible outside this period. Or, the other way around, the product may only be visible inside the shop between date x and date y. Is this possible?
