i just started trying to do prove of POC between hikashop with joomla and two other e-com product, today i download the startup version and added couple of product, overall feeling of the product is very good. One thing, i noticed when i try to insert the amazon add-to-cart link to product, it reports the Product not available, The cart is empty. but when i add the html button code to joomla article it can click and redirect to amazon page.. just wondering if there is any workaround to this, also if there is way add to cart to hikashop shopping cart and then check out from amazon. thanks,

And i don't think this has anything to do with the free version we are using, right?

Hi,

Why are you using HikaShop, an e-commerce solution, if you do not want to use HikaShop as an e-commerce solution ?
The amazon add-to-cart button issue is not an issue with HikaShop, because you are not using HikaShop for his main goal.

I really don't know what I can answer you because I can't help you for something that which is not related to HikaShop.
If you have troubles with the "amazon add-to-cart button" provided by Amazon, I will recommend you to contact Amazon itself.

It's not about trying to evade your question, but a real advice. You're using an amazon button in a joomla article so that it goes directly from your joomla article page to amazon for the payment. So HikaShop doesn't intervene in the process you're using. So if you want an answer about the problem with the amazon button on that page, you should rather ask amazon support since it's not a hikashop issue and that we won't be able to help as we don't know how to debug amazon buttons.
Now if you want to use HikaShop instead of joomla articles and amazon buttons for your ecommerce website, that's also possible, but then your question about the button not working is moot since it's not how you integrate a shopping cart solution with a payment gateway. You need a payment plugin to integrate both, and unfortunately, HikaShop doesn't have one for amazon payment platform.
