Free Downloads -- Can Track Statistics?

Just a general reports question.

Is it possible to track the number of downloads from the 'Free' Download links (front end) on products?
I cannot see anything like that in the reports.

Hi,

We do not store something in the database when a free file is downloaded.
But it is something you can do thanks to a little plugin and the trigger "onBeforeDownloadFile".
