Plug-in "Share on social network"

I have products with characteristics. Each characteristics has its own product image.

I enabled the plug-in "share on social network".

When the user clicks "share" in the product page he/she shares the "default" product rather than the product with the chosen characteristics. Any help?

Since you don't have a link to specific variants it's not possible to share a direct access to the variant.

So. it's not possibile to give parameters to the URL to show an other image?

I mean the default product has got the following URL:
http://www.[SITE-NAME].com/home/shop/index.php?lang=en&option=com_hikashop&ctrl=product&task=show&cid=12090&name=florence&Itemid=102

Is there no way to personalize this URL to directly go into a specific variant?

Hi there,

Actually it's possible to generate a link to a variant. To do so you have to include the id of the variant in the product url.
However, the problem here is that the facebook button is generated when the page is loaded. Which means that, whatever you do in the page won't affect the button behaviour. To send the url of the variant you would need to reload the page every time a variant is selected and it's not very use friendly.
