Hi,
Can you download the last Hikashop version through our website, install it, and test it again ?

hi, i am working on a site in hikashop essential v2.2.3, it says i have the latest stable version so i dont have an option to upgrade.

to describe the problem, i am putting this shop up: www.prettyfrisky.com

if i use the category listing menu (currently the default page) :

prettyfriskylingerie.com/index.php?optio...t=listing&Itemid=108

and pick a category, it shows the brands page - obviously it would be useful if it showed the products from the selected category!

the category list on the right sidebar works as expected

The solution will be to use an associated module through your category listing content menu's configuration page, reading that tutorial will probably help you :

A category listing menu is only displaying the categories by itself, so that's why there the "Associated modules" option. Once you display once your menu on your front end, you should get a products listing module generated automatically and added to that "Associated modules" option. That's this module which will display the products listing under the categories. So, you can personalize the listing of the products by going in the menu Display->Content modules and editing the module associated to the menu you created OR by just clicking on the link of the module in that "Associated modules" option. You will again see lots of options to configure your products listing the way you want it.

You need first to remove any selection in "Associated modules", save changes and after that cghange your "Associated category".
That worked for me.
