Product Characteristic Variants no longer displayi

-- Joomla version -- :3.22

All of a sudden, none of my product option variants are displaying correctly. When I log into the product itself, I can see the correct options in the drop down menu: But, when I click on "Manage Variants" the screen is completely empty of options. On the front end, I can only see a yes / no options instead of allowing the customer to choose a date. Please see attached screenshots.

Hi,

Can you please check that you do not have any filter in the HikaShop product listing ?
It might be possible that some filters are interfere. Just an idea like that, I have to investigate more on that.

Hi,
Can you please :
- Active the Joomla debug mode ("Administration->Global configuration->System->Debug System/Language")
- Set the "error reporting" option of the Joomla configuration to "maximum"
- Test it again so that we can see if it display an error message.

Hi Mohamed,

I can't seem to upload the screenshot I took into this - the form keeps timing out when I click submit. I'm copying the info below, but it's difficult to sort through. Is there something specific I should be looking for in the debugger report?

Hi,

We do not require the Joomla debug information, we need to see if there is an error in the page.
But for what I analyzed using your screenshot make me feel that there is not error, it is "just" that the product does not have any variant value.

Your front-end screenshot just propose "yes" and "no", it does not propose the different variants.
It means that HikaShop does not list the variants of the product, it propose the main product or no product.
Otherwise you will have the list of variants, like in the demo page (all options except the webcam) : demo.hikashop.com/index.php?option=com_h...ow&Itemid=91&lang=en

So you will have to create the variants in the screen "manage variants".
Otherwise you can delete the characteristic, save the product and recreate it. HikaShop should create the different possibilities of variants itself.

We did set all of this up the way you have it on the demo site and it worked properly. Maybe I should give a bit more detail to help you understand. We are selling seminars and when we remove a date of a class from the main characteristic, it breaks in all products that it is set up as an option in.

I deleted all the upgrade products, rebuilt them and added them back as options to all the products, but I don't want to have to do this each time we need to add or remove dates. Do you have any further suggestions?

Hi,

Is the price dynamically changed depending on the value selected of the date variant ?
If not, it could be less heavy to use the custom fields instead of variants for this dropdown.

I just tried on my end to delete a value in the characteristics, then add a new one, and was not able to reproduce your problem.
It seems to be working fine on my end. Do you have met this problem again ? Maybe that updating your HikaShop version could solve the problem.
