Hi,

The tutorial steps work fine. If you have an issue with it, it means that you're not doing it right.
All that can be done with the free edition.
In fact, you don't need that tutorial for that.
First, the slider is not a HikaShop module slider. It's the DJ image slider for Joomla:
extensions.joomla.org/extensions/photos-...ools-slideshow/13119
Second, the categories listing module on the side is already installed by default. You just have to enable it via the Joomla Modues manager. It's called "categories listing : 2 levels".

Thanks for answer, but I only have 'Categories on 2 levels' module and It doesn't work.
It shows only first subcategory, other subcategories show on the page but not on the module.
Is it possible that I don't have that module?
Where can I download Joomla Modues called "categories listing : 2 levels"?

When I use 'Categories on 1 levels' module
I get this look:

Cat1
Sub1Sub2Sub3
Cat2
Sub1Sub2Sub3

But I want this look:

Cat1
Sub1
Sub2
Sub3
Cat2

Sub1
Sub2
Sub3

like on this web page: gcmstores.com/en/

Hi,

It's not a Joomla module which can be downloaded, it's a module present by default in HikaShop.
So you can re-configure it if you no more have it, you can see the configuration on our demo website.

If it only shows one category, it means that there is only one category configured under the "product categories" category in your HikaShop backend, or that you changed the "parent category" option of the module to something else than "product categories", or that the "Only display categories with products" option of the module is turned on and that the other categories don't have any product in them.

Where can I change html code for this:
Cat1
Sub1Sub2Sub3
Cat2
Sub1Sub2Sub3

Because in 'Category on 1 level' shows every subcategory.

You will have to use some css properties to put each subcategories under each others.

I have made the following categories - see attached file - creating the root tree is no problem - but I seem to get a problem connecting a product to a category? What is missing ??I am not an advanced joomla or Hikashop user - just started ...

Hi,

To connect a product to a category you have to select the desired category in the product edition page via the menu Products > Products.
The category selection is on the right side of the product edition page.
