Hi,

Yes that's possible.

It's a simple HikaShop content module configured to display the products of a specific category that you created and unpublished and added to the products that you want to see in that module.

So, I just create a HikaShop content module, then a category (unpublished?) and add items to that category.

Unpublished category?

Yes, unpublished category. This allow to not have it displayed in a category listing menu/module, but you are able to display products only from that category.

and how many items can we display at a time? can we have 4 like in the demo, and arrows left and right to scroll through more?

The number of items to be displayed in the module can be configured with the ""number of elements" option of your module.
The right and left scroll uses the carousel system which is only in the Business edition but it is available since HikaShop 1.5.3. So if you have a 1.5.8 Business edition you can do it. We have some documentation on the carousel here:

Thanks for your help,
I tried and did it. All ok.
I was only wondering if you could actually click on the image and display a popup with a larger image instead of it linking to the item page. But I guess there would be no point for that.

All is good
thanks again

thanks for the link,
wouldn't that overwrite the current "page" feature on other such modules?

Like if there are two modules on the site, wouldn't that affect both?

It depends how you do it.
In each module/menu you have a "item box layout" option (menu Display->Content menus/modules to edit your modules/menus options). By default, it's set to "image and title", which means that it uses the listing_img_title view file. If you do your modification in that view file, it will change the display for all the menus/modules using that "image and title" item box layout.
But you could always do it in another one and use different layouts between menus/modules in order to avoid having it done for all the menus/modules.
