With reference to the screenshot below, The option "8G Minion USB 2 Memory Stick" was created with different characteristics. The problem I now have is that there is no way not to include it in the purchase, i.e. I want it to default to "No" as with iRobot.

Also is something meant to happen when I hover over or click on the i's next to the options?

Finally how do I instead a heading into the options box?

Ok, I worked out the pricing part. Make the product free (i.e. zero price), call the first characteristic (none or no) and add the prices to the other variants.

Just need help with the other two bits

Hi,

2. Yes, the i should display a tooltip with your option description or a popup with the content of the link that you put in the "URL" field of the option. If you leave both empty, it won't display the i. If you don't have any tooltip/popup but that you have the i button, then it means that you have a javascript error on the page which prevents it to work properly.

3. You can edit the file "option" of the view "product" via the menu Display>Views and add your text at the top of the file.

Thanks for that. With respect to the tooltip, I've looked at the product and can't see where/how one adds a tooltip.

As I said, the tooltip will display automatically on the i if you entered a description in your option product.

Ok, was just checking because I have a description, so it must be something in my template then that has broken something .

Do you see any javascript error on your page with your browser's javascript error console ?
